Your basic Facebook profile information containing your user ID, first name, last name, user name, email address, home town, friend list (name of friend, ID of friend), gender, education level.

The Way We Use Information:

Much of the information collected is created specifically to implement features used by the website. Other information is used to track sales to sources and to monitor the overall health of our servers. In some cases, your demographic information will be used internally to optimize ad placement by gender, location, and/or education level.

PuppyShowdown.com will also use your email address to send you one weekly email about your dog’s performance for the week, information about the winning user (potentially you!), donation results from last week’s winner, and other information possibly including a sponsor message.

Weekly contest winner(s) will have their name, Facebook profile picture, and hometown information featured on our blog as well as the doggy charity they chose for the weekly donation.

What information is made public:

Your PuppyShowdown.com profile page is public. It will contain your name, FB profile picture, and any information posted about your dogs contest entries, such as dog name, bio, adoption link (if provided), contest image, and contest record.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
