Kaya is our 12 year old puppy and the HBIC. You’ll see her in the showdown competitions and when you do, you'd better vote for her. If you don’t, she’ll make sad faces that are really too much to take.

This is my wife Janna. Still not sure what I did to deserve her... Janna wants to start a dog rescue someday, but for now she has her hands full with a successful career and keeping my ass in line (a full time job). Somehow, between all that, she manages enough time to spoil our pup and help me with this site.
My name is Ian Drake and I’m the “creator” of PuppyShowdown.com. I put that in quotes because this was my wife’s idea, but hey, I wrote the software (and this page), so I’m taking credit! After my last start-up failed epically, I thought this project would be a nice break and do lots of good at the same time. When I’m not working on this, I’m consulting or working on yet another start-up.
